The barterboat website enables you to barter your own skills and services, in exchange for jobs you'd like help with, or have done by someone else, within your local community. You are also able to barter skills and services plus part-payment, or for full payment if this suits both parties.

On any boat, every crew member has a vital role to play. A boat crew is a small community providing food, water and shelter, plumbing, light and power, entertainment, and safety systems. Crew members know everyone's skills, and understand how reliant they all are on each other to keep the boat sailing happily and safely.

As a member of the barterboat crew, you can quickly and easily search for people who want to give you what you’re looking for. For only a small annual fee, barterboat gives you access to local people offering all sorts of skills or services. 

A barterboat Member is given a profile,and will be able to post as many jobs and offer as many skills as they want in return for services. Only members can to apply for jobs, post jobs or services, or contact job posters.

Think you don’t have the time? Then you really need to join the barterboat crew. You can even free up some of your time by finding someone who wants to do tasks for you.

barterboat membership is annual, and there are no other fees.

You can use barterboat to post jobs and skills/services, search and apply for jobs, and receive applications, as often as you like over the next 12 months for just one small fee.
